The holiday season has presented itself with a whole ton of really awesome gadgets and cell phones, from the Blackberry to awesome alarm clocks and a whole bunch of other things that people are sure to want to get their hands on.
We’ll look at two of those super-cool cell phones today, and some more tomorrow.
The first is the Rumor by LG. This cell phone is ideal for the person who is constantly texting. The phone has not only the standard numeric keyboard, but also a QWERTY keyboard, which slides out. It also has technology so that the users can put music on the handset from their computers – up to 4,000 songs.
The Rumor’s camera is only 1.3 megapixels, which many reviewers didn’t like, but they did say the call quality was good. The internet access isn’t exactly speedy, but the phone can still surf the web, and can be used on facebook, myspace and other sites. It also comes with a GPS system, excellent for those of us who can never seem to find their way. This cool new phone is available at Sprint for $79.99 with 2-year contract.
Today’s second cool phone is also by Sprint. The MOTORAZR 2 is smaller than the original RAZR, and stronger as well. It is faster, has better features, and larger screens. It also has a 2 megapixel camera, video and – get this – video calling. AND for the person who can’t be torn away from the TV during football season, it’s possible to download the NFL content and see what’s happening in the game. Easy as pie.
The MOTORAZR 2 also has the GPS system and internet access. This phone, though, doesn’t come cheap. It’s being sold for $249 with a 2-year contract.
