The Spice Girls really are hot – again! The girls had an awesome London performance, with strong voices and some great dance moves. And their outfits, designed by Italian designer Robert Cavalli were amazing. Even the critics thought the girls did great. Of course, one critic said the sound system was terrible and the singing shaky, but you can’t please everyone. And even he thought the show was still spectacular.
The Spice Girls had 20,000 fans at their London concert, and the did a lot of dancing (in the form of gyrating), and Melanie “Scary Spice” Brown even imitated a lewd act with a male dancer. During the 2 hour performance, the girls changed eight (yes,
times, with Emma “Baby Spice” Burton opting out of some of the more-energetic dancing thanks to her injured ankle. Oh, and Victoria “Posh Spice” Beckham had a wardrobe malfunction.
Believe it or not, the tickets for the London show cost $150 plus per ticket, and get this: were sold out in under 38 seconds. That’s not even a full minute! I guess when the Spice Girls make a comeback, they really make a comeback! “The girls have been stunned by the incredible response their shows have produced,” one record label insider said.
Because of the huge response, the Spice Girls are considering changing their tactics from a world tour and a Greatest Hits Album to an expanded tour and an album with new songs.
