Have you ever wanted to talk to your car and now that it was listening? Maybe even hear it respond?

I’m not talking about a Lindsay Lohan “Herbie” type thing, or a “the car’s been wired and now someone’s laughing at you while you think you’re cars responding” type thing.

There is a new Ford In-Sync car system that allows you to hook up your cell phone, your iPod or whatever, and have it listen to you – it’s voice activated. So, if you’re driving down the road, and someone sends you a text message, the system will read the text to you. You can also call someone (wouldn’t want to text while driving), and this system will be available in 12 new cars for 2008.

AND the system only costs $395. Not bad for a talking car.
