Amy Winehouse was arrested for “perverting the course of justice.” You gotta love the way her rep’s way of spinning it. She confirms the arrest was made, then explains that it’s common practice in the UK, where people are technically arrested when they’re brought in for questioning.
Amy hasn’t yet been charged with anything, and she’s also been released. Questioning (aka arrest?) will continue in early March.
